God to Power ; Dios al poder
This paper aims to make a commented reading on the book The revenge of God by Gilles Kepel where he studies the relationship between politics and religion, illustrating that this relationship has been present in the latest international developments in Christianity, in the followers of Islam and of Judaism. The contribution is to show that this relationship has been also present in Buddhism, a process which does not account Gilles Kepel in his book. It is important to address this issue, to understand how for a considerable length of time a large number of Buddhist monks in Myanmar (formerly Birmania), have been leading protests against the military regime in power. The interest to discuss this is not simply casuistic, but entails a reflection that is not included in the text by Gilles Kepel, i.e., unlike the re-Christianization, re-Islamization and re-Judaizing processes that have emerged since the 70's as a negation of the modernity; Buddhism, in particular as a non- theistic religion, claims modern values such as democracy; at least this is the reflection left by Dalai Lama's words in Paris regarding the last Olympic Games held in China.

About gods and judges ; Sobre dioses y jueces
Throughout history, and due to different reasons, there have been different types of judges. There were "originalist" judges, for whom Law is synonymous with law. Those "vanguardistas" also abounded, who had the exhausting job of judging absolutely everything. And there were also (and are) present the "conciliators", who incorporate the values of a liberal and democratic stateto the legal norm. What kind of judge do we want? What kind of judge do we need? Using comparisons, examples and parallels between different types of judges and gods andGreek demigods (Zeus, Heracles and Hermes) and Romans (Jupiter, Hercules and Mercury), this article makes a brief reflection on the types of judges and poses a solution to the problem. And the answer is crucial, since the dose of commitment of the judges with the Rule of Law will depend on the type of role assigned to them.

Between Man and God: Answering for Creation ; Entre l'homme et Dieu : répondre de la création
In relation to the environmental question, this article tackles elements of a theology of creation. First, the author explores the biblical background and shows that Man is called towards an inaugurative, active existence upon the reception of a world that does not need to be scaled back to a human reality. Then, he elaborates upon the criticism of an inherited anthropocentrism, not in order to substitute any biocentrism, but rather to propose a third way that will be built upon a re-reading of the history we are coming from. It will take the form of a genealogy which will need to be constructed and which be linked to a set of problems, to be constructed as well. The article concludes with a reflection on the social, political and religious realms, granting the function and limitations of each.

The God of Delphi in Sophocles' Electra ; O deus de Delfos na Electra de Sófocles
Apollo's oracle is mentioned three times in this Sophoclean play and, in spite of this, the goods never seem so far away from human initiatives. Orestes consultation with the oracle suggests that his decision was already taken and his report of Apollo's answer leaves ambiguous who understands the revenge as a "just sacrifice". Orestes' motivations are clearly political and patrimonial. Sophocles exploits such ambiguity to underline the diversity of perspectives of brother and sister (the bipartite prologue suggests it). Fixated on her brother Electra, spent by her suffering, doesn't find a proportional affection and attention from him, a revenger who comes back to take possession of his inheritance. As Apollo had previewed, the revenge will succeed by deceit and dissimulation, deprived of warrior' arete. Will Orestes be sure, after his revenge, that the good is with him? Even there Sophocles keeps an ambiguous formulation. The price of the liberation of this house is too high. The play ends in an unglorious and depressing atmosphere.

Berkeley: The Conception of God in the Philosophical Commentaries ; Berkeley: la concepción de Dios en los Comentarios Filosóficos
Berkeley was a philosopher who wrote about such diverse topics as natural philosophy, political philosophy, mathematics, economy, and theology. Within this broad range of interests, his concern about the infinite spirit stands out; thus, the aim of this paper is to trace the origins of Berkeley´s conception of God, an issue which is already prefigured in the Philosophical Commentaries. The importance of knowing and analyze the notes that make up the Commentaries lies in that they make it possible to understand not only how the incipient immaterialist philosophy was established, but above all –being purpose of this paper– what features and role God acquired within it.

CHOQUEQUIRAO Y LOS TEJIDOS PARA LOS DIOSES Y SEÑORES INKA ; CHOQUEQUIRAO AND TEXTILE FOR THE GODS AND ELITE INCA
; The Incan society, as well as other complex and ideological societies, within its organization, confirms different activities to satisfy its basic and also ideological necessities; one of these activities is based in textile making with useful, political and religious or other goals, which are conceived in Incan social behavioral patterns and these would characterize the designation of textiles for a specific social level. The Archaeological and Monumental site of Choquequirao, because of the complexity of its architectural and urban characteristics, should be understood from the conception of the planning of Cusco. It is true that the construction of its buildings was developed on and in relation of the difficult topography. This will maintain the conceptual organization patterns of the planning of Cusco; that would be the concept idea to build «New Cuzcos» which were mentioned by Cieza de León and Bernabé Cobo in chapters LXXVII and XVIII respectively and analyzed by Hyslop in Inkawasi and Morris in Huanucopampa.

¿Religiones sin Dios? Hans Kelsen antropólogo de la modernidad ; Religions without God? Hans Kelsen, Anthropologist of Modernity
; In 2012 an unpublished book by the Austrian legal philosopher Hans Kelsen, Secular Religion, has been posthumously published. This book, written by Kelsen between 1952 and 1964 in the United States, severely criticizes those theories of politics and culture that misinterpret modern social philosophy, science and politics as new religions, mainly adopting the controversial concept of "secular religión." In the first part of the paper, we reconstruct the genesis of the book and the complex events that led to its final version, and we underline the motives that led Kelsen to write this vehement polemic in defense of the spirit of modernity, and eventually to withdraw it. In the second part of the paper, we investigate some of the main methodological and theoretical contributions that this work, albeit its critical tenor, is able to give to an anthropology of modernity.
