With this collection of studies, the Reti Medievali editorial team intends to honour a maestro who, through the example of his research and his constant openness to discussion and debate, showed an entire generation of Italian historians the importance of a watchful regard towards comparison and contact with the international scientific community of medieval and modern age scholars.

; My doctoral thesis topic concerns the intervention of the Italian central government when autonomous or semi-autonomous agencies are considered to be in 'emergency' or 'crisis' situations. The intervention is called 'commissariamento' and it entails the substitution of the ordinary management team. Moreover, emergencies entail extraordinary powers: special Commissioners can repeal part of the law in order to re-establish the order quickly. It is impossible to translate the word 'commissariamento' in English, an expression itself of diversity in administrative notions and vocabulary. In my explorative research, I'm focusing on the features of the intervention and on the results achieved by analyzing four case studies within the Italian cultural sector: two archeological areas (Napoli and Pompeii and Rome and Ostia) and two Opera Houses (Theatre Carlo Felice of Genoa and Arena of Verona).

; I here wish to discuss put to the test methodological issues: ancient sources as an instrument for map-shaping that aimsing at the promotion of cultural heritage. I investigate two areas of the ancient Western Sicily that played host to are examinated where military events of great historical importance a couple of important battlesoccourred: the Krimisos River – Belice River (339 BC), nowadays – and the Egadi Islands battle. Thanks also to the preliminary study of ancient sources Aabout the formerlatter, once checked ancient sources the Soprintendenza del Mare in Trapani and the RPM Nautical Foundation shed light on the numerous many underwater finds NorthWest of the Levanzo Island and then they located the stretch of sea where the naval battle took place more precisely. This area has now been now included in the 'ArcheoMap' Eeuropean project (6° FP 2002-2006), also testing 'routes and underwater archaeological parks', which – through the use of audiovisual aids –intends to promote the seas both as natural and cultural heritage. The second example sample shows an area of the Monti Sicani in the province of Palermo where the « Laboratorio di Scienze dell'Antichità (Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa)», has being carryingies out archaeological research since the early Eighties: the ancient city (Entella) rose on the left branch of the Belice River and its territory extended southward to the confluence of the river. Also in this case, the ancient sources (Greek and Latin) provide topographical details, which – with toponymic (Catasto Borbonico) and morphological (Charter of Soils of Sicily) elements – allowed to assume deduce the area of the battle. The related study will form ais expected to appear on a chapter of the «Carta Storico-Archeologica del Comune di Contessa Entellina», developed in progress by the team at the conclusion of after the topographical surveys (1998-2002).

In recent years, several research activities have been developed in order to increase the autonomy features in Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), to substitute human pilots in dangerous missions or simply in order to execute specific tasks more efficiently and cheaply. In particular, a significant research effort has been devoted to achieve high automation in the landing phase, so as to allow the landing of an aircraft without human intervention, also in presence of severe environmental disturbances. The worldwide research community agrees with the opportunity of the dual use of UAVs (for both military and civil purposes), for this reason it is very important to make the UAVs and their autolanding systems compliant with the actual and future rules and with the procedures regarding autonomous flight in ATM (Air Traffic Management) airspace in addition to the typical military aims of minimizing fuel, space or other important parameters during each autonomous task. Developing autolanding systems with a desired level of reliability, accuracy and safety involves an evolution of all the subsystems related to the guide, navigation and control disciplines. The main drawbacks of the autolanding systems available at the state of art concern or the lack of adaptivity of the trajectory generation and tracking to unpredicted external events, such as varied environmental condition and unexpected threats to avoid, or the missed compliance with the guide lines imposed by certification authorities of the proposed technologies used to get the desired above mentioned adaptivity. During his PhD period the author contributed to the development of an autonomous approach and landing system considering all the indispensable functionalities like: mission automation logic, runway data managing, sensor fusion for optimal estimation of vehicle state, trajectory generation and tracking considering optimality criteria, health management algorithms. In particular the system addressed in this thesis is capable to perform a fully adaptive autonomous landing starting from any point of the three dimensional space. The main novel feature of this algorithm is that it generates on line, with a desired updating rate or at a specified event, the nominal trajectory for the aircraft, based on the actual state of the vehicle and on the desired state at touch down point. Main features of the autolanding system based on the implementation of the proposed algorithm are: on line trajectory re-planning in the landing phase, fully autonomy from remote pilot inputs, weakly instrumented landing runway (without ILS availability), ability to land starting from any point in the space and autonomous management of failures and/or adverse atmospheric conditions, decision-making logic evaluation for key-decisions regarding possible execution of altitude recovery manoeuvre based on the Differential GPS integrity signal and compatible with the functionalities made available by the future GNSS system. All the algorithms developed allow reducing computational tractability of trajectory generation and tracking problems so as to be suitable for real time implementation and to still obtain a feasible (for the vehicle) robust and adaptive trajectory for the UAV. All the activities related to the current study have been conducted at CIRA (Italian Aerospace Research Center) in the framework of the aeronautical TECVOL project whose aim is to develop innovative technologies for the autonomous flight. The autolanding system was developed by the TECVOL team and the author's contribution to it will be outlined in the thesis. Effectiveness of proposed algorithms has been then evaluated in real flight experiments, using the aeronautical flying demonstrator available at CIRA.

; Sustainability is a broad subject which concerns not only institutional policies and corporate choices, but also ordinary people purchase and consumption behaviors. For instance, food is an issue strongly connected to sustainability. Concerning health and environmental sensitivity, sustainability often influences diet choices, although it is still not clear how much people are actually conditioned by this issue, and whether such conditioning comes from direct and conscious processes or from profitable or unconscious choices. At the same time, what emerges is a general contradiction between knowledge, beliefs, opinions, professed values and actual behaviors; consumers act differently and inconsistently with respect to their intentions and declarations. Their opinions and attitudes are often contradictory, and the professed sustainability consciousness (in surveys too) doesn't match with their habits and behaviors as consumers (Biel e Dahlstrand, 2005). The aim of this paper is to investigate the relationship between sustainability and food consumption from the perspective of consumer choice processes (De Luca, 2006). It is also to understand if these consumer choices are influenced by the values of sustainability and whether, and how this relationship is influenced by media representation of the issue of sustainability. To achieve these objectives we conducted several types of study: qualitative research interviews with opinion leaders and consumers (youth and adults); qualitative research with focus groups in northern and southern Italy, two quantitative surveys conducted in 2010 and 2011 with involvement (in the first survey) about one thousand people aged between 18 and 65 years and (in the second survey) of 1.000 young people aged between 18 and 28 years; a survey on the influence of communication on the perception of taste and investigation techniques for implicit confirmation of the data collected using traditional methodology (the questionnaire). The project was implemented with theinvolvement of research teams from the IULM University of Milan, from the State University of Milan, Catania and Palermo.

The analysis of the relationship between architecture, the territory and modern tourism, the subject of this research, is part of the interpretation of the tourist phenomenon as a spatial phenomenon at the basis of new urban scenarios, capable of influencing the processes of the urbanization of places and their perception, of generating renewed urban metaphors contributing to modify social forms and methods of communication. In this sense the initial frame of reference within which research is developed, refers to the theory of space aimed at understanding the phenomenon of tourism. The study of the "space tourist" has so far placed itself within the scientific debate regarding the geographical knowledge, of which two tasks have been traditionally assigned: the first was to provide representations, the second to translate the reading and interpretation of the territory into operational tools in order to transform it according to the needs of society. The latest spatial manifestations of tourism have therefore represented significant areas whereby to draft the features of a possible postmodern geography. But the analysis of space tourism, in recent decades, has taken on a new dimension and with it, a new relevance in terms of social and cultural aspects, in fact tourist images of places have contributed in an ever more consistent way to feed the mind maps of individuals and thus their vision of space, of the territory and of the world. The horizon of tourist research was broadened enormously by the research of the last ten ye- ars, and tourism has thus become an important key for interpreting significant phenomena, starting with the process of nation building, the Americanization of consumer styles and production patterns, the elaboration of the con- cept of heritage, the courses of development of backward economies, up until the most recent studies on the relationship between tourism and urbanism. And it is precisely on contemporary urban horizon which I intend to focus on in this work, thanks to more recent research trends of the French school, in particular in the transition from the study of geography of tourism to the study of the relationship between tourism and urban themes and by the research carried out by the MIT team (MIT Team – Mobilités, Itinéraires, Territoires). Today we can speak of hyper-tourist phase- a definition that may be useful to distinguish first generation tourism from the current one - for the fact that the relationship which has been established between tourist industry, urban are as and local systems is typically post-modern. In fact, both in terms of territorial transformation and economic and cultural terms, many cities have taken tourism as the reference model and, in turn, tourist spots and places have adopted dynamics which are typically urban even when pre-existing urban settlements are not mentioned. These premises are the basis of the objectives of this research that by analyzing the contemporary tourist phenomenon in its architectural and urban spatial dimension, intends to bring materials and methodologies for interpreting it as a phenomenon that generates "urbanity". The concept of urbanity thus allows us to approach tourism in a different way than just studying a set of practices which have incre- ased exponentially: rural tourism, ecological tourism, seaside tourism, urban tourism, etc., allowing us to highlight the properties common to the tourist phenomenon and what forms it may take on. At the same time, the concept of urbanity allows us to bring out the urban characteristics produced through tourism. The concept of "urbanity" is then referred to the transformations of the territory tied to tourism: from the evolutionary trends of the settlement, which also fits the role and orientation of planning, up to the current processes of restructuring the territory. In this sense it was deemed necessary to distinguish two reference scales: the extra-territorial dimension of the phenomenon where, in the dynamics of contemporary flows, it is possible to identify a sort of macroplace (destination) that includes all the spaces where people come to and which they often share, and bringing us to a phenomenology of generalized de-localisation and de-territorialization. - the territorial dimension, the one where in the concrete relationship with places, tourism leaves deep traces in space, produces urban substance becoming the generator of urbanity forms, which often defy the rules of the city in the consolidated or traditional sense, and for which it is necessary to define critical issues and politics of intervention . Starting from the need to bring the attention to the territorial dimension, in which analysis and formalization of the relationship between territory-tourism-urbanity can lead to theoretical and operational outcomes, the developments of this research thesis are then referred to the specific case study of Sardinia. This research is structured into three main sections. The first is dedicated to the analysis of space tourism, where, starting from the modern-post modern dichotomy as identified by Minca (1996), an in-depth examination is carried out, on the one hand, a kind of tourist space explo- sion, with the acquisition of new and increasingly large territories and, on the other hand, a genuine tourist space implosion with the concentration inside closed or semi-closed areas in a series of images and pure, stylized tourist landscapes. The focus is placed on the territory: the tourist territory - namely the spatial organization (or space-time) tourism, which presents itself since its origins as a consumer-driven system, because it is moulded favouring methods of access to resources and exchange, that today becomes the paroxysmal place of the flows both in terms of material consumption of goods – starting with the territory - in terms of geographical mobility (movement) and in terms of symbolic exchange (communication). The analysis of the first section focuses, as indicated in the introduction, focuses on the interpretation of the tourist phenomenon as a spatial phenomenon which causes space tran- sformations through the construction of images and landscapes, creating forms of urbanity in terms of urban 'products' and architecture 'products'. With reference to specific case studies and analysis we will then refer to the alternation in time of genuine models tied to the courses of differentiation and approval, related to the creation and organization of tourist area in which fundamental interpretations regard the formulations of Battilani (2007) and the research contribution of Trillo (2003). This type of analysis is supported by a further comparison, the one with the specialised 'manuals' and its contents compared to the reflections and attempts to define guidelines for the space tourist project. Therefore those elements emerge - which is the basis and where the thesis is oriented towards with the ability to confer quality to the project of tourist spots, with a significant contribution in the Italian case, consisting of a lecture by Gio Ponti entitled "Architettura e turismo" (Architecture and Tourism), held in 1942 for the Directorate General for tourism and ENIT (National Tourist Agency), which widens the horizon of the debate, from the manual type of debate to the more complex one: the context. The following paragraphs relate to a specific analysis of spatial transformations induced by tourism and in particular to the phenomena of cultural and physical de-location and de-territorialization, up to the analysis of urban dynamics- related processes, in which often the concept of city is represented, made into a utopia, or subverted. If in the first section of the thesis tourism has been identified as a spatial phenomenon, which begins with a project, an intention tied to the use of places, it is evident to steer this research within a framework of analysis on the relationship between tourism and the theme of urban, introducing the second section with an interpretation of Tourism as a generator of urbanity. The possibility to analyze and identify the specific characters of urbanity, referring to the evolutionary dynamics of a given territory, can constitute a conceptual tool that allows us to receive the tourist dimension as a component of the ur- ban aspect. This is formalized through the interpretation of three different dimensions: that of urban monuments, urban public spaces and mobility, deepening the analysis on the relations between tourist spots and the differentials of urbanity, illustrating the issues whereby that tourist aspect is featured as "relative urbanity". Consequently a second analysis scenario is introduced, the one that refers to the relationship between Tourists and Urbanists, hence between tourism and planning. Some a few fundamental references, Oddi (2011) with regard to the study of the relationship between tourism and urban planning, we start with the fundamental differences that exist between the two scopes: the town is basically a technique and an art2 ; while tourism is – just as with all the "isms" - a movement, a flow, even before a pure and simple activity. In this sense the town is the tourism object but it does not deplete its interests and interferes only partially with its reasons strongly tied to moving. That which unites urban planning and tourism, however, is the need for design, planning and programming of transformations that generate in the territory in order to ensure the control and quality of interventions. It is clear that the town planning technique (more rarely art) has established the necessary instrument for implementing tourist settle- ments, but the goals have strongly come apart, producing a sort of mutual distrust that under lies many still pervasive attitudes.

Dottorato di ricerca in Memoria e materia delle opere d'arte attraverso i processi di produzione, storicizzazione, conservazione e musealizzazione ; The candidate's prop osed project aims to be a contribution in the illustration of the mechanisms and dynamics of the patronage of Cardinal Domenico Amedeo Orsini, including him in the cultural, historica l and socia l context of the 18 th Century. Starting from a study carried out following the histor ical-artistic study methodology, supported by an archival and bibliographic research, the aim is to examine one of the most important Roman and Neopolitan patron s of the second half of the 18th Century and whose personality results having been studied very l ittle. The importance of Cardinal Orsini's patronage stems from the dialectics of opposite religious and mundane tendencies, both present in his existential dynamic: the upper prelate, in effect, is active in two kinds of commissions, that which refers to his Cardina l duties and that which is purely boun d to him being a s ignificant exponent of an imp ortant family. Cardinal Domenico Orsini was a virtuous and culturally informed man, very fond of music and poetry. In the figurative art field, Card inal Orsini had a strong artistic flair, marked by a discreet eclecticism, a character istic which took shape in the granting of important tasks to the most famous painters of that time. The Cardina l was a shrewd observer of the entire Roman and Neopolitan artistic panorama, for this reason his figure will be read as an interdisciplinary key outlining his role in the cities of Rome and Naples. He was also known from a socia l and political point of view, trying to understan d whether the prelate, in the qual ity of patron, proposed himself as a means of cultural and artistic exchan ge between the two cities. In the project it will be interesting to define the relations of favouritism which occurred between the patron and artists and the role that the Cardinal had in promoting the activities of young emerging artists. The position assumed by the cardinal as patron and art lover, favoured the collection of numerous paintings in the family's buildings and outl ining him as a collector. These collections, which today are almost broken up, are instead well defined in the inventories of that time; real unexplored sources of information regarding the histori c-artistic sector. The project foresees research, analysis and the study of this documentation, with a subsequent arrangement of the data directed to favour the identification and collocation of the listed paintings, some of which are conserved in European collections. The events tied to his collection allow a systematic reading of the evolution of a typical collection of the 18th Century, from it's constitution (patronage) to it's organization according to aesthetic princip les (collection, preparation and exposition), and up to it's dispersion determined b y the choices made b y the direct heirs. The Cardina l's role as patron and collector which the project intends defining, will then be analysed in relation to restoration, decoration and furnishing of the Gravina Palace in Naples, considered as a practica l and technica l base on which to set the genera l principles. The re-structur ing and decorating of the 16th Century building took place from 1747 to 1782, directed by the architects Ignazio de Blasio, Mario Gioffredo and Ferdinando Fuga and guided by the Cardinal's shrewd and co mpetent mind. The definition of the Palace's architectura l structure is accompa nied by a pictorial decoration, document ed for about six years, from 1765 to 1772, carried out by a team of artists who worked in the different rooms assigned to them, among whom the names of Francesco De Mura, Giuseppe Bonito and Fedele Fischett i stand out. The custom to inform the commissioner s with precise documentation, letters, reports, maps and drawings, has prov ided accurate new materi al from which speci fic themes emerge i.e. establ ish to which extent the Cardinal could enter upon problems; the freedom of action given to the artists; the social and psych ological elements; the iconographical materia l aspects; the techniques used; the division of work among painters and even the economic aspect of the payment methods of the artists. The project, then, tends to re-build and safeguard the documentary memory, intended as a historic recalling of the contexts in which the work was realised, and it's social, historic and cultural genesis. The commission will therefore be analysed as an expression of a liking and a social behaviour and also as a research of presti ge and self assert ion. The art object will thus be set in the real life of these characters and the meanings of the art works will be placed correct ly in relation to the historic and environmental contexts.

; In the history of the cartography of Duchy of Modena the fundamental works having introduced meaningful technical variations in the representation of the territory are just three: the first one is by the mathematician and astronomer Giovanni Magini in the beginning of 1600, the second one is by Domenico Vandelli around in the middle of 18 century and finally the works of the Genio Austro-Estense Corp by Major Giuseppe Carandini in the first middle of1800. On the work of this last one is focused the present relationship which is taking on examination both the "official" cartographic production of the Topographical Office of Estense Army (which from 1815 to the middle of century produced an high-level work of relief and cartographic elaboration of the territory), as the "derived" maps from these works. In the beginning of this report, as absolute novelty, I'm glad to introduce the first produced map by Estense Topographical Office: the map of the Estensi Dominii in Italia, an accurate scale 1:100.000 relief of the whole Duchy of Modena based on the French geodetic system. This work, lost during the fights of Italian Risorgimento, has recently been found again. The map is divided into four massive dissected linen-backed sections and is printed just only in the first part (where the frontispiece is in), while the other ones are manuscripts. This chart testify the great technical competence reached in few years by Estense Topographical Office. These operational abilities aroused the applause of the Austrians till to persuade to invite the officers of the Estense Genio Corp in the team which was working to the realization of the great map (scale 1:28.800) of the Imperial possessiones in Italy and of the satellites States (Parma, Modena and Tuscany). From this ponderous work derived also the military Mappa del Ducato di Modena (Map of the Duchy of Modena), better known as "Carta Carandini" (jus tkept in an only copy in IGM in Florence), as well as a reduction of it printed in Vienna in 1842 and adjourned in 1849 as a "commercial" copy: the Topographical Map of the Duchy of Modena (scale 1:86.400). In the meantime the 1848 Italian fights allowed the Sabaudian Army to get hold of the reliefs of Estense Topographical Office, allowing them in order to produce a military map showing the territory of the Duchy of Modena too: the Carta Topografica della Lombardia e dei Ducati di Parma e Modena (Topographical map of the Lombardy and of the Duchies of Parma and Modena, (always scale 1:86.400). The other works derived by "Carta Carandini", and shown in this work, are: the Carta degli Stati Estensi, (Map of the Estenses states) dated 1847, inserted in Statistica degli Stati Estensi by C. Roncaglia and a marvelous manuscript map of the Duchy in its sunset (scale 1:115.200): the Carta Topografica dimostrante i territori dello Stato di Modena, (Topographic map showing the Modena state territories) unknown to the bibliographies, engraved by Gaetano Raffo, an engraver who worked in Modena around 1850.

; Technological development results in a "reshaping" and, sometimes, a complete change within existing productive structures. The knowledge brought about by technological innovations, to be incorporated need a wealth of suitable structural procedures: for this reason the evolution between the technological development and the structural change is getting narrower. The coordination and management of the sinergies and feedbacks among the different aspects of the innovative activity becomes a line of strategic action within the companies to obtain superior economic performances. The strict complementarity between investments in tangible goods (new technologies) and intangibles ones ( organization structure), which brings about a better productivity growth, is the pivot of the new approach to these thematics. The complementarity hypothesis in the innovative processes is particularly important with the advent of the ICT technologies, with their general purpose technology, their widely pervesive characters and the associated requirements of a knowledge at a higher contexct. (Breshnahan et al. 2002, Brynjolfsson et al., 2000, Brynjolfsson et al., 2002, Bugamelli e Pagano 2004). The penetration of these technologies in the productive frame favours the development of the different complementary inputs and allows several flows of "secondary" innovations, which creates new products and processes, bringing more or less long sructural adjustments which include the business reorganization and to carry out work documentation at high performance or High Performance Workplace Practices (Breshanan e Trajtenberg 1995). The latter can be explained in a series of actions which have in the human resources empowerment its central element (unit) and which are reliased with the reduction of the hierarchical levels of employment at general responsibility level, bringing in the employees in active running roles, in working as a team with many duties and competence, in the methods of valuing performance and suggesions from below and lastly in good industial relations. The notion of the organisation as a collection of elements extremely different, but complementary, goes back to Milgrom and Roberts (1990 e 1995) who, at first, gave a definition based on the properties of modular dimensions of the firm income capacity and then they (the set of elements) put together the resulting documentation due to the complementarity between technological innovations and structural changes. Implicit to the complementariety definition, is the idea that to do more in a certain activity does not exclude to do more in another one; this is to the contrary to the firm traditional theory where the hypothesis of decreasing range efficiency can limit the possible simultaneous increase of the firm variable choices. The empiric analysis have put in evidence that often technological and structural innovetions are taken together and that both influence the firms performances (Black e Lynch 2000, Bresnahan, Brynjolfsson e Hitt 2002, Brynjolfsson, Lindbeck e Snower 1996, Malone et al. 1994, Pini 2006, Pini et al. 2010). In our country the empiric studies on the complementarity within the innovative fields are still few. The major econometric works realised, based on limited samples at provincial level are ascribed to Cristini et al. (2003 e 2008), Leoni (2008), Mazzanti et al. (2006), Piva et al. (2005), Pini et al. (2010). The integration within the ICT technologies, stuctural changes, work habits at high performance on work productivity are aspects investigated insufficiently even on the studies already mentioned. This is the specific subject we propose to examine. At first we have reconstructed the theoric and empiric argument on the driver role aiming to obtain performances better than the the ICT technologies, stuctural developments, work habits, each taken individually. In a second phase we have verified the existence of virtual bonds between the innovative activities and labour productivity putting in evidence the complementariety within the innovative areas. For this reason we carried out an empiric analysis using two main sources: IX and X investigation on manufactury firms of Mediocredito Centrale (now Capitalia) and the Community Innovation Survey (Cis-4) by Istat. These last data are put together with the ones of active plc (public limited companies) balances from 2001 to 2008 with structural characteristics according to Companies Register (Asia), foreign trade data (Coe) and employment (Oros). By following the productivity approach we searched complementarity bonds, achieved with software STATA 10, a range of changeble regressions, using production activities related to innovative strategies and their interactions. The samples, based on the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) technique, are different according to the type of data: available with Mediocredito data, we valued a production function of the Cobb-Douglas type; for the Cis-4 was valued a sample at fixed results using a production function of Tanslog type. If going back to the Cobb-Douglas function appears again in the international literature, especially to value the consequences of single innovative strategies on labour productivity (Black e Lynch 2001, 2004, Breshnan et al. 2002, Gera e Gu 2004), the use of a Translog funtion, is chosen absolutely, without going back to literature when referring to the object of the analysis. From this point of view, we were influenced by Amess' (2003) work, where were valued the results of the management buyouts on the long term efficiency of manifacturing industies in Great Britain. Besides we tested the presence of complementarity by using the analysis of the differences based on performance, by dividing the firms according to their different utilization of innovative strategies. An aspect to take into consideration is that, our analysis carried out on the integrated Cis-4 panel utilise a rather special and large sample which represents the Italian industrial reality, a fact, as already mentioned, not common in the studies undertaken in our Country on this subject. The results obtained from the analysis of both samples are in line with the principal Italian empiric studies (Cristini et al. 2003 e 2008, Mazzanti et al. 2006, Pini 2006, Pini et al. 2010), widely confirming the hipothesys of a positive impact within the three innovative strategies on the companies increase of the producteve performances, even if singularly employed by the business. As regards the examination of a complementarity connection within the three innovative areas, emerges clearly an additive effect on its added value using the analysis of the differentials and approching the super modularity of Milgrom e Roberts (1990, 1995). The most important aspect of these results is that some variables become particularly significative when the firms use them simultaneously: this is particularly valid at educational level and partnership in R&D. The activity at educational level is positively associated to ICT technologies and structural innovetions, understood as the setting up of partnership for R&D. In addition from the analysis of Mediocredito data emerges, according to the skill biased technical change theory, a tendency by the companies, which have made significant techinical-structural changes to look for employees with higher qualification levels (Berman, Bound e Griliches1994, Breshnan et al. 2002, Draca, Sadun e Van Reenen 2006).

; ABSTRACT Asset Management Activities of Investment Management Company (IMCO) The aim of thesis is: To understand and to let understand what is the asset management of investment Management Company?
