Alger-Moscou : évolution et limites d'une relation privilégiée

Pendant la guerre froide, l'Algérie était un partenaire privilégié de l'Union soviétique. Les liens entre les deux pays se sont distendus dans les années 1990 avant de connaître un regain depuis quinze ans. Si les relations commerciales entre Alger et Moscou restent faibles, il en va tout autrement de la coopération dans les domaines militaire et énergétique. L'Algérie est le deuxième importateur d'armes russes et a fait appel à la Russie pour construire sa première centrale nucléaire.
