Abstract

Ausgehend von der Ost-West-Wanderung in Europa während der Industriellen Revolution geben die Autoren einen in zeitliche Etappen (1945-1950 und 1950 bis 1992/93) gegliederten Überblick über die europäische Ost-West-Wanderung. In einem weiteren Abschnitt wird eine Typologie dieser Migrationsbewegung in ethnische Migration, Flucht und Asyl und Arbeitsmigration vorgenommen. Abschließend wird die Situation in den Herkunfts- und Einwanderungsländern beschrieben. (IAB)
