The aim of this doctoral dissertation is to explore some aspects of representation, that is, the ways in which human beings imagine, interpret, signify, and give meaning to both the material and the social aspects of their life on earth. In particular it investigates representation in relation to the sub-discipline of social geography, and in the context of a distinction called meaning/matter. Meaning turns to matter, and matter turns to meaning, including the human body in-between.

Innovation is the key term of development in the modern world. Although it is of the utmost importance, there is still a lot to be done to popularize the idea of innovation, to ensure a common approach to the necessity of providing incentives, and of tightening the relevant legislation ensuring the protection of innovations and innovators. In the last decades, the legislation on innovations in Croatia has changed and improved remarkably. As a direct result of great social and legal efforts, the innovative environment flourishes, influencing directly the economic and social growth of the country. Through a review of the Croatian legislation, this paper shows the dynamics of the development of legislation in the field of innovations. The very term "innovation" has been reassessed as there was a very common misunderstanding of the difference between invention and innovation. Croatian innovators are more and more successful at global level and this has been confirmed by recent awards.

Many developed countries in the world has been operating an anti-bullying strategy to prevent bullying among students for many years, but Ukraine has still achieved much in this regard. That's why changes to the legislation that defines bullying as an offense are a positive development. But first of all the article is devoted to the research of the problem of bullying from the aspect of society in jurisprudence, because this phenomenon is multifaceted and, in my opinion, needs a comprehensive solution and research. The first part of the article considers the sociological aspect of the study of bullying in educational institutions, explains a brief history of the study of bullying, highlights the negative consequences of bullying. In article also was made an attempt to analyze this phenomenon from the standpoint of both position — the offender and the victim, which deepens us in the study of the essence of the problem. At the end of the first section of the article was made a brief conclusion about opportunities how bullying can be prevented at the level of social education without bringing the offender to administrative responsibility. The second part of the article is devoted to the legal component of combating bullying. Changes to the legislation on this issue are analyzed, the composition of the administrative offense is highlighted. Mentioned on appearance of a new subject of legal relations - the educational ombudsman and also the main powers of all subjects of the educational process are described. The case law, which was shaken in resolving the issue of bringing the offender to administrative responsibility, was also analyzed. There are three main types of decisions in these cases — the first is to bring the offender to justice, the second is to close the case, and the third is to refer the case to the authorized body of the national police for revision. The purpose of the research is to identify the features of demographic aging in terms of gender problems in modern Russia. The most significant demographic transformation of the current century is the process of population aging. It is established that the distinctive characteristics of the demographic dynamics in our country are: changing age structure of the population against the background of low fertility connected with the second stage of depopulation in Russia; a significant lagging behind not only economically developed but also several developing countries in life expectancy for both women and men; prevailing demographic asymmetry by gender; low indicators of healthy life expectancy, which are calculated without taking into account the gender component; burden of age-related diseases accumulated by the age of 65. It is shown that in Russia the number of elderly and old women exceeds the number of their male coevals by more than 15 million. Social, technological, and demographic transformations impact the dynamics of social roles. The most important change is the growth of women in paid work throughout the world, including in Russia. And women of retirement age have a high risk of social isolation. For many Russian pensioners with low per capita income and no savings the main strategy is that of survival. So now the most topical problem is changing the stereotype of women's old age, associated with such concepts as lack of development, untidy appearance of a person without gender and desires that causes physical rejection.
