Kosten-Effektivitätsberechnungen von Alkohol-Entzugsbehandlungen: Kritische Anmerkungen

<span class="fett"> Hintergrund: </span> Die bisherige Datenlage zur Kosteneffektivität von Entzugsbehandlungen Alkoholabhängiger zeigt, dass die Analyse von Kosten und Wirksamkeit die differenzierte Betrachtung mindestens dreier Merkmalsbereiche erfordert:</p><ol> <li>Dauer und Intensität der Interventionen,</li> <li>Setting,</li> <li>Schweregrad der Erkrankung.</li> </ol><p> <span class="fett"> Zielsetzung: </span> Diese Aspekte sollen auf Basis einer Recherche über klinische Studien der Jahre 1995–2005 hinsichtlich ihrer Relevanz für eine angemessene Versorgungsplanung in Deutschland diskutiert werden. </p><p> <span class="fett"> Ergebnisse: </span> Die Effektivität ausreichend langer und integrierter Ansätze der Entzugsbehandlung ist für den stationären und ambulanten Bereich belegt. Unter Berücksichtigung der Heterogenität der Zielgruppe (von Patienten mit einer beginnenden Alkoholabhängigkeit bis hin zu chronisch mehrfachbeeinträchtigten Abhängigkeitskranken) sind heterogene Behandlungsangebote zu entwickeln. </p><p> <span class="fett"> Schlussfolgerungen:</span> Eine isolierte Betrachtung der ökonomischen Kosten einzelner Entzugsbehandlungen ist unangemessen. Auf der Basis einer ambulanten Steuerung erscheinen inhaltlich heterogen und strukturell flexibel gestaltete Gesamtbehandlungsangebote bedarfsgerecht und erfolgversprechend.
