Education, Artistic Practices and Transformation for a Participatory Democracy: A Narrative Review Related to the Two Years of Covid-19 in Italy ; Educazione, pratiche artistiche e trasformazione per una democrazia partecipativa. Una revisione narrativa relativa al biennio Covid-19 in Italia

Abstract

The need for restart actions, which has been marked by the crisis provoked by the Covid-19 pandemic, calls for a pedagogical reflection capable of finding the possible ways for a politics of humanity (Morin 2020) that could promote ecological transition and democracy re-generation processes aiming at an active responsible co-participation. Starting from here, this study raises the question about the use of artistic practices in educational contexts as a transformative education medium that can lead to the construction of a real participatory democracy. Working on a narrative review of the Italian scholarly literature written in the last two years about the topic of choice, the research group has selected a corpus of articles that has been read from a critical-analytical perspective. The discussion has highlighted how all art forms, as well as the cultural heritage they belong to, actively contribute to humanizing transformative processes in different formal and informal educational spaces. ; Il bisogno di ripartenza marcato dalla crisi prodotta dalla pandemia da Covid-19 smuove la riflessione pedagogica, chiamata a individuare le vie per una politica dell'umanità (Morin 2020) che possa promuovere processi di transizione ecologica e di ri-generazione delle società democratiche, in un'ottica di co-partecipazione attiva e responsabile. A partire da qui, il presente studio si interroga sull'utilizzo delle pratiche artistiche nei contesti educativi come medium per un'educazione trasformativa propedeutica al costituirsi di una democrazia partecipativa reale. Procedendo alla revisione narrativa della letteratura scientifica italiana dell'ultimo biennio sul tema di interesse, il gruppo di ricerca ha costituito un corpus di articoli che è stato oggetto di lettura critico-analitica. Si è visto così come le diverse arti e, con esse, il patrimonio culturale concorrano attivamente al darsi di processi trasformativi umanizzanti in diversi spazi dell'educazione formale e informale.
