Goals and roles of U.S., U.S.S.R., PRC and Japan in the next ten-fifteen years

Abstract

As the author sees it, the roles of the four big powers of the Asia-Pacific region - the USA, the Soviet Union, the PRC and Japan - will certainly continue to be great and important in the next 15 or more years - not only in the region, but worldwide, because of their actual influence on the course of events due to their national potentials. After discussing general goals of each of the big four, the author explores the ways and crossways of the big four in the Asia-Pacific region. (DÜI-Sen)
