Anti-rightist in politics, anti-leftist in economics

Abstract

The study points out why the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) is both anti-leftist and anti-rightist. The Chinese communists are submerged in a sea of contradictions. The author believes that the demands for ideological and political liberalization which are the inevitable result of economic liberalization are something that the CCP, with its monopoly over these spheres, cannot permit.
