Illegal fishing cases often occur in waters at the edge of Indonesia. This article is focused on examining and analyzing the synergy between the authorized institutions in the process of monitoring and handling illegal fishing cases that occur in the waters of Aceh province. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research design. The four authorized institutions coordinate the performance of each other to help each other's role to reduce illegal fishing violations in Aceh Province. LANAL Sabang helped mobilize forces to carry out law enforcement at sea from the threat of violations as well as to safeguard marine resources. PSDKP Lampulo is the foundation for supervising marine and fishery resources in Aceh Province. Panglima Laot has more authority in regulating laot customary law and fishing communities in general. DKP Aceh is the axis of the service and movement for the protection and utilization of marine resources in Aceh Province.

This article provides a critical analysis of the digitization of healthcare communication in Italy, Finland, Norway, and Spain. Particularly, we focus on organizational communication and interactions among institutions, providers, and patients. A qualitative content analysis was conducted on data collected between January and May 2019 from (a) documents and policies and (b) interviews in each country with health-related key experts. Results indicate that Finland and Norway are closer than Italy and Spain to the EU discourse concerning the digitization of healthcare communication. Despite what we see as two roads of innovation, all four countries share problems such as the transition toward patient-centered care and the standardization of e-services at different levels. Given that the COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated these practices since March 2020, this article suggests that European digitization of healthcare is undergoing rapid change that warrants broader analysis. ; publishedVersion ; Peer reviewed

In response we conduct an inductive and deductive qualitative review of the literature to clarify this landscape and so to develop a typology of six definitions of government platforms, organised within three genres along a spectrum from fully centralised, through to fully decentralised. For each platform definition we offer illustrative 'minicases' drawn from the UK government experience as well as further insights and implications for each genre drawn from the broader information systems literature on platforms. This research is motivated by government policies in the world of education, namely implementing an online learning system. This study aims to find out how the discipline and learning independence of fifth graders at SDN Banjarasih during online learning. The method in this study is a qualitative descriptive. Research data sources come from interviews, observation and documentation. The results of this study explain that fifth grade students have the discipline and independence of learning quite well with the platforms used, namely zoom meetings and whatsapp groups, this can be seen from several indicators that have been observed that student learning discipline and independence are created slowly. Some of the teacher's efforts to instill discipline and independence student learning by doing various habits. Supporting factors as well as obstacles instilling discipline and independence in student learning, namely cellphone facilities, netwoks and quotas, teacher readiness and motivation from parents.

This study aims to analyze the strategy for developing the potential of tourism places in Jember Regency, East Java. This study focuses on activities to analyze strategies that can be used by the Jember Regency Government so that it can focus on the main strategy, namely tourism development in Jember Regency, East Java. The survey subjects were all tourists and residents around tourism sites in Jember Regency who participated in the development of tourism sites in Jember Regency, and the survey sample was obtained from directly. Data collection uses previous research review techniques and theoretical concepts that underlie tourism strategies, surveys, and in-depth interviews. This study uses data analysis techniques in the form of qualitative descriptive analysis. The results and findings in this study show that tourism places in Jember Regency have the potential of a very worthy area to get more attention in terms of sustainable tourism development.

Share and Tsaragi are twin communities in Kwara State, Nigeria, living harmoniously for centuries before a crisis on border issues erupted between them. This study argues that internal mechanisms that originate from the people's philosophy and culture are potent tools to sustain peaceful co-existence between them. The research designs are quantitative and qualitative and data were gathered from participant observations, questionnaires, and interviews. Findings show that government interventions have not been perfectly enforced, hence recurring conflicts. The study concludes that crises are imminent where population growth is without corresponding economic empowerment and socio-cultural integration among the people. Previous research efforts confirm that African conflicts often occur due to the combination of poverty and weak States and institutions. However, data from this research confirm that collaborations and consensus are potent tools to entrench peace in Share and Tsaragi communities.

Resumo: O artigo propõe analisar o sucesso eleitoral de candidatos às prefeituras das capitais brasileiras em 2020. As eleições de 2020 foram realizadas em um contexto de pandemia de covid-19, em que os prefeitos tiveram de adotar medidas para minimizar efeitos da crise de saúde pública. Por isso, buscou-se explicar o sucesso eleitoral por meio de quatro condições básicas: aprovação do prefeito; grau de restrição das medidas de isolamento social; alinhamento do prefeito com o presidente; e taxa de óbitos por covid-19 por 100 mil habitantes. Para testar o modelo, utilizou-se a Qualitative Comparative Analysis (QCA) para compreender as diversas configurações possíveis para se explicar o sucesso eleitoral nas capitais. Encontrou-se que as capitais com prefeitos bem avaliados e baixas taxas de óbitos elegeram candidatos da situação, ainda que outras configurações também tenham levado ao sucesso eleitoral desses candidatos.

ABSTRACT This research focuses on the strategy of the Pulau Plastik campaign in reducing plastic waste.This study produces descriptive data with a qualitative approach. Data obtained through interviews and document searches. The theory used is based on the Power In Movement by Sidney Tarrow, it was found that the results of this study show that the Pulau Plastik Campaign uses a strategic approach consisting of four components, namely: Support from the government in the form of a Governor Regulation as the basis for the movement, Community Screening, Advocacy, social media networks and songs as an effort to build public opinion on the issue of plastic waste. This strategy is carried out with the target of the government, society and business people so that the use of plastic in Bali is reduced and the community can switch to materials made from other materials that can be reused.Keywords: Strategy, Campaign, Pulau Plastik.

-ABSTRACT- Personal branding of political actors is a step to shape people's perception of aspects, including personality, ability, skills to integrity. The use of social media by political actors asaa medium of political communication is one of the steps in the formation of personal branding of legislative candidates. This study aims to analyze Fadli Zon's personal branding as a legislative candidate on @fadlizon personal twitter account during the campaign period of 28th September 2018 – 13rd April 2019. This researchUuses qualitative descriptive research method and analyzed using three main dimensions of personal branding shaper. The result of this study was found 6 tweets without re-tweet found in the period 28th September 2018 – 13rd April 2019. During the campaign, Fadli Zon showed that he was critical, technologically responsive, credible, and populist legislative candidate. Refugees in the Netherlands are prioritized and given assistance with housing, although they have no say in where this housing is located. In this paper, we explore how recently arrived Syrian refugees cope with these regulatory practices by the national government and how their process of homemaking evolves in the new environments assigned to them. The article draws on qualitative data, including sedentary and walk-along interviews and pictures taken by recently arrived Syrian refugees in different Dutch cities. It shows how daily routines are vital for the social incorporation of refugees and how specific places can harm, but also matter, for processes of homemaking. Refugees actively find "places of restoration"—both within their new locality and beyond—and it is both the claim to belong as well as the claim to exert control over their own lives that plays an important role in newly arrived Syrians' homemaking processes.

Abstract Over the past 20 years, teacher professional learning as been reconceptualised as a process that is initiated during pre-service preparation but which continues in the form of job-embedded and collaborative learning activities. Researchers ave mapped the range of professional learning activities employed in selected Western and Asian societies. The current case study used a variety of qualitative data sources including open-ended interviews with the principal and teachers, observations of meetings and documents analysis, to identify model practices used to foster teacher learning in one primary school in a central province of Vietnam. The research identified nine professional learning activities for teachers, comprised of both external and school-based activities. These activities are described in detail and also linked to features of the Vietnamese social, political and cultural context under the lens of phenomenological analysis. This study aims to determine student perceptions of democracy in the city of Maumere. The research method used in this study is qualitative in the form of case study research through data collection techniques, participant observation techniques, interviews and documentation. The findings of this study are: First, the implementation of democracy in various aspects of the Maumere community, namely the implementation of civil liberty rules, the implementation of political rights for every community and the development of democratic institutions (institutional democracy) in government and society. civil. Second The condition of civil society freedom in Maumere can be seen from the relatively high level of freedom of association and assembly of civil society organizations, civil society organizations that appear in every social structure of society. The three factors that influence democracy in Maumere consist of: community welfare factors, social and political factors, civic culture and historical roots.

The world longest war against terrorism is expected to end. The United States of America is set to fully withdraw from Afghanistan in September 2021.This study, informed by Galtung's model of War and Peace, examines how the New York Times and China Daily depict this war and the recently initiated peace process. Combined method of qualitative and quantitative contents analysis was used and the two newspapers' coverage from September 2018 to August 2019 was chosen. 144 stories were extracted and 73 exemplar stories, which met the selection criteria were studied. The findings show that both newspapers excessively used elite-oriented and visible effects of war frames. The study also found that the NYT uses demeaning language, portrayed the Taliban as a dominant force, demoralized Afghan government and security forces; it also held the Afghan people responsible for the war. Implications of this study are discussed.

The aim of the research, which is the basis of the article and which continues the overall lasting interests of the author on the topic, is to show and prove the relationship between motivation – an essential function of government, with corruption as a negative social phenomenon with particularly serious consequences for society. Some of the main elements of the motivation of employees and corruption respectively are briefly considered, and a relation is made between them regarding the influence of motivation as an anti-corruption factor. The scientific methods used in the research are mainly qualitative empirical-theoretical. The results of a study on the topic are cited. The originality of the results is contained in the formulated thesis that "Employee motivation is definitely an anti-corruption factor!", based on which synthesized consequences (such as sub-theses) and relevant conclusions, with its scientific and practical value.

The Indonesian government policy to prevent the spread of Covid-19 has been interpreted in many ways by its society. One of the reasons is the use of English terminology when issuing the regulation. As a consequence, there are the appearance of lots of funny memes showing how society understands the government policy. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the foreign terminology used by the government followed by English terminology that was spread that was spread addressed to Indonesian who cannot speak English in major. This study uses descriptive qualitative method; as and the main data are the memes found in social media. These memes are analyzed linguistically using phono-orthography perspective to know about the cognitive acquirement of people in Indonesia. The next step is by having a sociological perspective using by having sociological perspective using symbolic interaction theory to acknowledge the social interpretation of the English terminology.
