El trabajo analiza un spot publicitario denominado Por amor a las tetas (Agencia Lowe Porta, 2012) centrado en la detección temprana del diagnóstico cáncer de mama. Desde una perspectiva de género, se trata de mostrar la persistencia de matrices androcéntricas en la organización discursiva del spot y en los modos en que es construida la enfermedad, como también, en la forma en que son interpeladas las mujeres. En términos metodológicos se realiza un análisis crítico del discurso que dialoga con el enfoque teórico propuesto, en relación a los procesos históricos que inciden en la construcción de ciertos modelos ideales de subjetividad femenina y que manifiestan la politicidad y erótica de los cuerpos. La realización de un análisis crítico que vincule las problemáticas de género y subjetividad con las prácticas de salud, resulta fundamental para una aproximación fértil en el campo de la comunicación sobre los sentidos que se construyen y las consecuencias de dichas narrativas. En este plano, se abordan algunas implicaciones para los procesos de aceptación y convivencia del diagnóstico, como así también en vinculación al autocuidado, aspectos fundamentales para el logro de una mayor equidad en la atención y en la promoción de salud. ; The paper analyses an advertisement called For the love of boobs (Lowe Porta Agency, 2012) focused on the early detection of breast cancer. From a gender perspective, the paper shows the persistence of androcentric matrices in the way in which the advertisement's discourse is organized, in which the disease is constructed, and in the manner in which women are engaged. In methodological terms, a critical analysis of the discourse is carried out which discusses the proposed theoretical focus in relation to the historical processes that have influenced the construction of certain subjective ideal female models and which exhibit the politicization and eroticism of their bodies. Within the field of communication, a critical analysis linking issues of gender and subjectivity with health practices is essential in achieving a fruitful approach to the consequences of these narratives and the meanings that result from them. La gestión estratégica de relaciones públicas en el desarrollo local abre importantes posibilidades de intervención para enriquecer la vertiente socioeconómica de los municipios. Qualitative & quantitative evidence from a study of several occupations in the public sector in the regional municipality of Haldimand-Norfolk, Ontario, is used to evaluate dimensions of emotional labor in the content of work performed by registered nurses, police officers, & managers. As part of a gender-neutral comparison system, two indexes are constructed to measure a range of emotional skills & demands found in these historically female & male jobs. It is found that the emotional labor required of police officers & registered nurses is comparable, despite the cultural ideology that portrays these jobs as requiring gender-specific skills. The utility & increased accuracy of using an augmented conceptualization of emotional labor to measure what employees actually do in performing their jobs are demonstrated. It is proposed that those studying emotional labor abandon their reliance on preconceived stereotypes of femininity when studying emotional labor, especially in service sector jobs. 6 Tables, 1 Appendix, 21 References. The major policies & practices regarding civil & criminal commitment of the mentally ill in the Scandinavian countries during the 1970s & 1980s are described & discussed. Deinstitutionalization, community work, & outpatient treatment within geographically defined sectors have been introduced in all the Nordic countries. At the same time, criminally committed mental patients constitute an increasing proportion of the involuntarily hospitalized population. The special defense of insanity & tests such as McNaughtan are not used; handling & disposition of severely mentally ill criminal defendants is closer to the notions of guilty but mentally ill in some US jurisdictions, although in Scandinavia such persons are hospitalized & do not receive penal sentences. Even though forensic psychiatry has come under much criticism, there is still a need for psychiatric evaluations for courts & the need for mental health treatment, rehabilitation, & follow-up for mentally disordered offenders remains. In a world of political upheaval, rising inequality, catastrophic climate change, and widespread doubt of even the most authoritative sources of information, is there a place for critique? This book calls for a systematic reappraisal of critical thinking-its assumptions, its practices, its genealogy, its predicament-following the principle that critique can only start with self-critique.In A Time for Critique, Didier Fassin, Bernard E. Harcourt, and a group of eminent political theorists, anthropologists, sociologists, philosophers, and literary and legal scholars reflect on the multiplying contexts and forms of critical discourses and on the social actors and social movements engaged in them. How can one maintain sufficient distance from the eventful present without doing it an injustice? How can one address contemporary issues without repudiating the intellectual legacies of the past? How can one avoid the disconnection between theory and action? How can critique be both public and collective? Quand le chercheur s'investit dans son action de recherche, il entretient un rapport cognitif et affectif avec son objet d'étude. Dans cet article, nous souhaitons aborder comment la question de l'implication du chercheur est un enjeu de la recherche et en quoi l'analyse des processus à l'oeuvre pour le chercheur peut devenir un objet de réflexion qui permet aussi une compréhension de l'objet d'étude. Dans le cadre d'une recherche doctorale sur le rôle de la religion et de l'école dans la construction identitaire des jeunes, notre immersion dans une école primaire au Québec nous place au coeur d'un processus réflexif sur la posture du chercheur, sur sa réflexivité et sur son positionnement par rapport à soi-même, à ses sujets de recherche et à ses outils de collecte de données. Dans cette étude, l'observation ethnographique comme outil de collecte de données nous a placé au coeur d'un processus conversationnel continu avec les sujets, avec les données et avec soi-même. Le processus a conduit le chercheur à une désaffiliation religieuse et à une réflexion sur les aspects intersubjectifs de la recherche.

The redistricting process evokes major questions about representative democracy, fairness, and political accountability. This article covers the state of the field along three dimensions. First, it explains how redistricting bears on questions about racial and minority representation. Second, it examines how redistricting influences electoral competition, focusing on the alleged power of partisans and incumbents to draw maps that eliminate all but token opposition. Third and last, it discusses the issues surrounding the redistricting process itself and how various procedural reforms may influence political outcomes. Although significant progress has been made in understanding how different redistricting schemes create various biases in the electoral system, a review of the literature shows that major questions have not been resolved regarding the effects of redistricting on electoral competition, partisan polarization, and representation of communities of interest, especially minorities. Moreover, there is insufficient evidence from empirical research to justify any particular reform of the redistricting process. In addition to filling these gaps, future work might also broaden the scope of research to assess how redistricting affects other aspects of democracy, including political participation, efficacy, and trust.

Abstract
Most philosophers of economics are hostile towards neoclassical economics in general and general equilibrium theory in the vein of Arrow and Debreu in particular. Especially the latter's dismissal is justified by pointing out its lack of direct relevance for an understanding of real economies. Many recommend a more pragmatic approach along the lines of Keynes instead. The criterion of scientific legitimacy underlying this approach derives from a philosophy of science developed along the lines of Popper and Lakatos. They, however, neglect the importance of conceptual problems and of the choice of adequate 'language-systems' in science. Since these conceptual and 'linguistic' aspects may be able to explain and to justify the rationale of the Arrow-Debreu approach, I recommend the more balanced philosophies of Carnap and Laudan, in which conceptual as well as empirical problems are allowed for, as a framework for methodological appraisal. I explain why such a balanced view is obstructed for most philosophers of economics and advocate a moderate pluralism leaving room for different theories, methodologies and language-systems, depending on the scientific aims that are pursued.

Purpose. The purpose of the research is to analyze ambiguous concept of democracy as a phenomenon of political and social formation based on political and instrumental approach. As a result, some deep fundamentals of human social existence and values as social life basis are blurred. Task. The task of this investigation is to reveal the concept of democracy in its invariative philosophical meaning and find the consequences of global social transformations towards social entropy. Methods of investigation. To implement the task an activity approach has been used with further possibility to single out two approaches - politological and philosophical. The focus on democracy from philosophic point of view makes possible to anticipate negative entropic processes that lead to future ambiguity. Subject matter. Chaotic social processes can result in ruined family, spiritual, legal and moral formations. Regulatory and legal paradigms are becoming less effective and entail disintegration of spiritual and value constituents of worldview causing necessary conditions for social entropy. Originality and Findings. Possible threats for human freedom that hinder the way to targeted prospects of mankind have been considered in the paper. Thus, taking into account all positive aspects of democracy, it is simultaneously becoming the tool of continuous differentiation of society into tiny autonomous communities similar to nomadic atomization of society. The concept based on moral substantial existence basis as in "axis time" by K. Jaspers that can prevent social entropy resulting in world anthropologic catastrophes has been grounded in the present research.

Finding appropriate mechanisms for the state to adequately confront certain criminal offenses is manifested through the prescription of various special investigative actions. This paper deals with the institute of an agent provocateur as a person acting under the alias in a criminal environment and whose knowledge of relevant facts from that area has a significant place in bringing to justice the perpetrators of criminal offenses later in the proceedings. After the introductory part, the author will present the national regulation of this institute in the Republic of Serbia, with an overview of the specifics of the Anglo-Saxon and Continental legal system. Comparing legislations will provide an overview of normative regulation, basic legal requirements and practical application of this institute, with an interpretation of the problem of committing crimes by an agent provocateur. The paper will examine both criminal material and process aspect of the institute of agent provocateur, through the framework for its engagement, the type of criminal acts for which it can be engaged, the principle of subsidiarity, and other issues that may arise as controversial in its engagement. Special attention was devoted to the objectives of determining this particular special investigative action and examining the agent provocateur as a witness. Finally, concluding observations are made, with a comparative approach.
