As there are changes in today's needs of the information society, the development of information technologies, the information behavior of scientists, the habits of information processing and its management in modern scientific libraries form their unique, atypical and constantly changing functions. This forces scientific libraries to take on new roles while ensuring the stability of their traditional roles. The vision for the future of the academic library is to become an academic partner from the service provider [1]. Preparation of employees for doing the right job is becoming more and more important and challenging. The combination of individual self-expression, knowledge and skills undoubtedly contributes to the successful implementation of changes, therefore it is important to focus on and distinguish significant employee competencies to ensure organizational goals. In recent decades academic libraries conditioned by the changes happening in information society have fundamentally changed their activities: reorganize structures, carry out reorganization in collections, improve information search systems, organize open access to scientific resources, redistribute budget priorities, expand collaboration with academic community, organize the training and participate in the training process, focus on employee learning, implementation and adaptation of new technologies, conduct scientific research, constantly improve services. The role of today's scientific libraries is not limited to the diversity of book collections and the ways in which they are stored, they play an active role in building technology and knowledge infrastructures. It is now more evident that the functions of libraries' dissemination of information, accessibility, storage and social functions are crucial. "In the age of technology, the availability of information streams and the efficiency of their processing are becoming critical criteria for determining the quality and attractiveness of libraries" [2]. The abundance and variety of exploring scientific research sources are equally important for their availability and presentation. Therefore, the transformation of library staff from a curator of publications to a high-tech specialist or IT consultant in modern scientific libraries is an inevitable phenomenon.Having done the systematic analysis of scientific literature [3-7], the article presents the refined competencies of library employees as a result of changes in library activities and necessary for their successful implementation (see Table). Taking into account that organizational intelligence is one of the main guarantees of the quality of activities, which ensures the possibility to implement organizational changes, such competencies as personal knowledge, skills (abilities) and personal qualities (internal readiness) are necessary for implementing library changes. It can be noted that the greatest success of change implementation is determined by the skills (abilities) and personal qualities of the employees. This demonstrates that the library staff should be flexible, operational, tolerant, able to successfully develop their skills, and effectively apply other personal qualities to prepare for changes in the organization.Table 1. This can be seen in the library employees' distinguished functional, managerial, organizational, negotiation (communication, cooperation), education, coordination (planning, integration), understanding and analysis of digital systems, development of projects and methodologies, and data analysis and evaluation abilities. The knowledge of the library staff was detailed based on the main knowledge groups, i.e. professional, theoretical, technological, management, scientific communication, digital systems. It is almost certain that in recent decades changes in libraries have created new concepts of librarians' erudition.Knowledge such as technological, digital systems and, to some extent, scientific communication were certainly not on the list of key competencies of the traditional library staff. This proves the fundamental transformation of library staff competence in an inclusive digital environment. In conclusion, it could be stated that changes of activities in academic libraries initiate changes in staff competences - in the context of changes, there is a need for the staff to develop new or existing competences that are attributed to skill and knowledge, and personal qualities groups. It is these competences that need to be strengthened, since only a combination of them will lead to successful implementation of change.

The significance of studying artificial intelligence within our contemporary society holds immense importance as the world has embraced an era of novel innovations. The objective of this investigation is to conceptualize the advancement of an artificial intelligence-centered society within the framework of risks and challenges characteristic of postmodernity, while also exploring its potential integration across all facets of human existence. The study encompasses three key objectives: Exploring the evolution of artificial intelligence through its four distinct waves, as it progressively becomes more intricate and exerts an impact on human life. Investigating the developmental trajectories of artificial intelligence (AI) within the context of the growth of smart societies and smart technologies. Developing the conceptualization of artificial intelligence within the dynamic landscape of technological shifts and the digital economy. Upon analysis, it becomes evident that the progression of an artificial intelligence-based society within the realm of the digital economy is in a state of perpetual evolution, leading to enhancements and the emergence of novel challenges, issues, and risks. The article presents a comprehensive exploration of the development of an artificial intelligence-driven society through its successive "four waves," each characterized by increasing complexity and influence on human existence. The pathways of artificial intelligence development within the domain of smart societies and smart technologies are thoroughly examined. It becomes apparent that artificial intelligence has the capacity to fulfill various functions, including learning, comprehension, reasoning, and interaction. Its applications extend across diverse domains including: (a) data security, (b) fraud detection in financial contexts, (c) diagnosis of human ailments in machines, and (d) anticipation of potential diseases based on markers, as well as personalized marketing strategies designed to gather insights about customers. In essence, our interconnected and susceptible society confronts a multitude of risks, predicaments, and challenges. Therefore, safeguarding ourselves becomes imperative, necessitating a triumph in the contest for the ethical implications of technology. This victory in the realm of technological morality is an imperative measure to withstand the trials of progress.

Relevance. Organizations' social responsibility in the market is manifested through the quality of the services they provide, consumer information, care for their health, safety and the integration of environmental requirements into the activities of the organizations. Employees are one of the key stakeholders, and their approach is one way of exposing the organization's CSR issues. From the point of view of organizations' economic responsibility, it is important to strive for competitiveness of goods and services, efficient management and economical use of resources (Carden and Boyd, 2011, etc.). Ethical social sphere emphasizes honest cooperation with stakeholders, taking into account public expectations and customer information. Pedersen (2010), Homburg et al. (2013), Segal (2011) discuss topical issues of social responsibility that define an organization's relationship with its stakeholders in pursuit of organizational customer loyalty and trust and socio-economic justice in the community. In the field of environment protection, the integration of environmental protection legislation into the activities of the company, reduction of pollution, improvement of operational activities, continuous monitoring, anticipation and implementation of necessary changes is important (Delmas et al. 2013, Claydon (2009), Valdes-Vasquez (2011), Fleming (2017), Allen (2016), Shin (2015), etc. A survey of CSR in the market was conducted in small and medium-sized enterprises. 175 respondents participated in the research. Research aim. Assess the social responsibility of organizations towards consumers, the environment and the community in terms of employees. Research methods. Responsibility in the market according to consumer information, caring about their health and safety has been assessed by employees to what extent these statements correspond to the reality: organizations provide detailed product information; I enjoy the services and products of my organization; my organization is concerned with the health of consumers when providing services, products; there has been no evidence that the services (products) provided by my workplace have been detrimental to the welfare of consumers and my organization does not manipulate consumer confidence. From the employees' point of view, the investigated organizations have a higher than average level of responsibility. The lack of responsibility is reflected in the fact that employees disagree that organizations do not manipulate consumer confidence. Promoting environmental protection is important in terms of market responsibility.Responsibility in the market is defined by these statements: the organization uses technologies that comply with organic standards; organizes environmental initiatives; uses only tools and technologies that reduce the negative impact on the environment; the organization takes care of the ecologic education of its employees, the organization takes care of all waste to be recycled, the waste is sorted, and green ideas are encouraged financially in the workplace. Having assessed the respondents' attitudes towards meeting environmental requirements, it could be indicated that the surveyed organizations have a medium level of responsibility, while employees indicate that organizations do not financially promote green ideas or contribute to the organization of environmental initiatives. Based on the results obtained there was ascertained higher than average level of social responsibility of organizations in the market, therefore, in the case under review, the activities of organizations in the context of applying social responsibility principles should be improved according to all categories defining social responsibility in the market.

The focal point of this article revolves around delving into the strategic planning, management practices, and decision-making activities of business luminaries (such as Bill Gates, Andrew Grove, Steve Jobs) who were the pioneering stars of the contemporary technology realm. Drawing from an in-depth analysis of their three-decade experiences steering companies with a cumulative value of 1.5 trillion dollars—namely, Microsoft, Intel, and Apple—we have distilled five foundational principles that were consistently present in their strategic planning approaches. These principles not only empowered them to surpass competitors but also served as a guide for their unparalleled success. A shared attribute among these individuals was their adeptness at recognizing their weaknesses and orchestrating actions to counterbalance those shortcomings. They demonstrated a proclivity for enlisting executives who possessed traits, habits, and competencies they themselves lacked. Yet, despite their astute awareness of their own strengths and limitations, B. Gates, E. Grove, and S. Jobs exhibited some degree of error in crafting the management blueprint for their companies' future—tasks that eventually landed on someone else's shoulders.
The paper presents an analysis of artificial intelligence as the most recent phenomenon induced by the technological breakthrough of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. On the one hand, it may change economic progress; on the other hand, it brings risks and challenges for all of humanity. The purpose of the study is to conceptualize artificial intelligence as a phenomenon, a dynamic process, and a research result of a number of scientists. It represents a complex system for analysis, to which the AGILE methodology is applied. Research Objectives are: to illustrate the dynamics of the evolution and development of artificial intelligence as the principal decisive force that could potentially change humanity; to identify artificial intelligence (AI) as a factor in economic restructuring; to define areas of advancement in artificial intelligence; to highlight the advantages of augmented reality in the context of digital technology development; to uncover the risks and threats associated with artificial intelligence. In this context, the authors suggest developing specific practical recommendations to enhance the future control of artificial intelligence.
By means of the modeling methodology, the object of the study was the theoretical and practical aspects of overcoming environmental crises as a factor to achieve sustainability. In today's world, several crises are combined: social, political, cultural and moral, the crisis of democracy, ideology and the general crisis of the capitalist system. More specifically, the economic and environmental crises are linked to the financial crises and the existing disorientation is due, to a large extent, to the financial risks that have affected the ecological footprint of civilization. As a result of the tasks set, the concept of planetary boundaries has emerged as an effective means of measuring the state of the planet and its threats. In this sense, the concept of an economy in need of transformation has been formed, as environmental growth and technological progress are accompanied and even accelerated by economy and resource efficiency. It is concluded that, current trends on Earth are not sustainable, and traditional responses to these problems often depend on the type of economic growth that is strongly associated, simultaneously, with additional resource consumption and the policies that make it possible.
Through the method of metaphysics typical of philosophy, the objective of the study is to conceptualize the political dimension of the interaction of digital man and society in the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The modeling method helps to create a model of interaction between the digital person and the digital society as a way of managing objectives to adapt people to increasing conditions of complexity and uncertainty, to provide a comprehensive analysis. As society becomes more complex, the model must become a flexible digital society. It is concluded that the analysis of variables and the determination of the optimal set of components of the digitalization of society play an important role: political, economic, administrative, social, and spiritual. Therefore, it is necessary to determine the optimal model that will achieve a balance between human nature, man, and society. As a result of the analysis carried out, modern theoretical approaches to the interaction of the digital person and a digital society in the context of the philosophy of politics are also investigated.
