The Diagnosis-Related Groups Statistic (DRG) is an anual complete survey of all fully stationary hospital cases in Germany that were accounted for by case rates. The microdata can be requested via the RDC starting from the survey year 2005. The case rate based DRG accounting system was introduced when the hospital financing was amended in 2000. Starting from 1 January 2004, this accounting system is obligatory for general hospitals. The DRG Statistic is a secundary statistic. The data is not collected by the statistical offices of the Federation and the federal states but by the Institut für das Entgeltsystem im Krankenhaus (InEK). The data for the DRG Statistic are taken from the datasets that the hospitals send to the InEK for accounting purposes. The InEK transmitts a legally exactly defined variable selection of these extensive structure and services data to the Federal Statistical Office. The DRG Statistic includes the continuous fully stationary treatment in the hospital (treatment chain) independent of the number of undergone specialist departments. Paramount are the information on operations and treatments, kind and amount of the invoiced charges (DRG case rates, effective valuation ratio, casemix) as well as main and secondary diagnosis. Besides, sociodemographic characteristics of the hospital cases such as age, sex and living region are recorded.

Over the years a variation of tests has been conducted within the various international surveys, as ESS, EVS and ISSP. Both at the international and national level tests regarding the wording of the questions and the response categories have been conducted. This study provides on overview of these language tests. Very often multiple tests are conducted on the same main question (versions A, B, etc), which are all included. More information on these variables is provided in the word document "Methodological data - Test variables_version 4".
JEM that were constructed in the same way as the original JEM (http://dx.doi.org/10.7802/1097) but updated for the classification ISCO-08 and KldB-2010. It is also possible to match via the older classifications ISCO-88 or KldB-92. In addition to the original JEM an Index for heavy work was added (HWI). 95.4 % of all ISCO-08 2-digit codes (the codes 63 "subsistence farmers" and 95 "street sales workers" are not covered), 90.8% of the 3-digit codes and 85.5% of the 4-digit codes are represented. The JEM were constructed based on data from the BIBB/BAuA employee survey 2011.

The survey covers the third month after the first diagnosed case of COVID-19 in Slovakia on March 6 2020. It was fielded in a period of gradual lifting of quarantine measures. The survey monitors fears of the disease, agreement and compliance with the introduced quarantine measures, changes of behavior at times of the epidemic and the approval of government strategies, state of mental health after extended quarantine and environmental topics. Surveyed are also fears of loosing work, changes in the income situation and relations within households. The survey also includes questions from Values in Crisis Austria survey which was fielded in the same time in Austria. This is the third survey from the "How are you, Slovakia?" survey series.
The survey was designed as part of the evaluation of the HIV / AIDS prevention strategy in Switzerland. This is a telephone interview survey of the general population repeated at more or less regular intervals with the same methodology for monitoring attitudinal and behavioral indicators relevant to the evaluation of the AIDS prevention strategy in Switzerland: attitudes towards and use of condoms, indicators of sexual behavior, etc. It provides a number of useful indicators for epidemiological and behavioral surveillance and for the definition of prevention measures. The survey also includes a series of questions relating to solidarity with people living with HIV / AIDS. The first survey was conducted in January 1987, the tenth and last in October 2000.
Transportation plays a key role in the Swiss energy transition. One third of people's trips correspond to commuting to and from work. In Swiss cities, ca. one third of commuters live in the same city where they work and thus have relatively short commuting distances. Nontheless, 50% of the trips of less than 5km are made using an individual motorised vehicle.
The aim of this study is to analyse urban commuters' modal choices and what plays into their everyday mobility practices. It focuses on commuters who live close to their workplace. In the context of this study, we aim to better understand into which values, spatio-temporal constraints and material conditions mobility practices are embedded, as well as how mobility practices change.
Supporting data for the article "Quality certifications for nonprofits, charitable giving, and donor's trust: experimental evidence".
In an experiment, we test the impact of quality certificates on donations to a charity. Compared to the control group, participants presented with a quality certificate chose higher donations by around 10% and reported higher trust towards the same charity. The choice of donation values over time shows strong persistence such that the difference between the two groups remained even after all participants were informed about the certificate. Since the initially uninformed donors did not adjust their donations sufficiently upwards, we conclude that quality certification is less likely to affect giving of existing donors. Finally, we find no significant effect of information about certificate fees.
Grundnahrungsmittel. Texte: Hans-Jürgen Gerhard. (Göttinger Beiträge zur Wirtschafts- und Sozialgeschichte; Bd. 15). Göttingen: Verlag Otto Schwarz & CO. Archiv-Nr.: ZA8484; in histat).
