Philip III, King of Spain, 1578-1621, as the champion of the Church, requests Condé to relinquish his opposition to the faith and the crown. He writes from "Burgos, ce 5. Nouembre 1615." ; Electronic reproduction ; 7 p ; 16 cm.
This article looks at contemporary Spain where the term "Transition" means "democratic transition", a step of change resulting from the authoritarian and traumatic framework of General Franco's dictatorial military regime leading to a parliamentary monarchy and consolidated democracy. Behind a seemingly obvious figure is a bundle of loopholes, both on time limits and on content and issues. We will use the literary axis to examine what is not known as a process, a phenomenon or a series of events. We will first discuss the main dates on which the Spanish transition is taking place in order to highlight the many issues at stake. Then with a panoramic look, and the choice of two novels more precisely, we will see the repercussions that can be found in fiction texts. Finally, with literature that helps progress towards the end of this transitional period, writing will be a central question in building an identity for the present Spain. Transition keywords, literature, Spain and novel Reflect to the concept of transition finds a specific extension in the case of contemporary Spain, where the term 'Transition', which can be written with a capital letter as an allusion to a commonly recognised reference, refers without question to what is more explicitly referred to as 'the democratic transition'. This stage of change, resulting from an authoritarian and traumatic framework, concerns the years when Spain moved from the dictatorial military regime of General Franco to a parliamentary monarchy and a consolidated democracy. However, behind this apparent blurry is a bundle of loopholes, both on time limits and on content and challenges. For this reason, one of the axes can legitimately be literary in order to examine from a different perspective what is not known as a process, a phenomenon or a series of events to be perceived in their coherence as leading from a position A to a position B. Some dates marking the Spanish transition. Boxes A and B are themselves plural, depending on the meaning of 'democratic transition' — ...
Philip III writes from Burgos, 28 October 1615, to the French crown offering his support and help against the rebelling Princes. He hopes for the peace of both kingdoms. ; Electronic reproduction ; 7 p. ; 15 cm.
The paper suggests a method to distinguish between various possible motivations (e.g. political vs economic) underlying policy implementation such as public investments. The true motivation can be revealed by modelling each policy goal, as the focus of the optimization anchoring a data envelopment analysis of the efficiency of the observed implementation. The approach is tested on Spain's land transport infrastructure policy since it is argued by many observers to be driven more by political than economic concerns. The method clearly shows that investments have generally been more consistent with a political objective (the centralization of economic power) than with an economic objective (maximizing mobility). ; info:eu-repo/semantics/published
These documents comprise four volumes : the first is a synthesis of all of my research, the second represents original unpublished work on the profession of carpenters in Valencia (Spain): brotherhoods and corporate body (from the 15th to the beginning of the 19th century), the third includes the documents in Valencia Catalan and Spanish that constituted the source of my investigation and which can be found in the Archives of the Ancient Kingdom of Valencia. The forth volume contains my papers and presentations. The unpublished work deals with the characteristics of the trade, its relationships with the local and kingdom authorities at the economic and political level as well as its religious and social role. The research also attempts to analyze the development of the carpenter profession over a long period of time, and explain the causes of its disappearance. The rest of the work deals with other powers and other geographical areas, namely the Spanish Inquisition, and the projection of the Spanish Monarchy in the Mediterranean and the Flanders Provinces. The effective integration of ecological restoration (ER) into land management requires the definition of priority areas and actions. At large spatial scales, priorities are commonly defined by experts in terms of ecological factors, particularly species distribution or a small set of ecosystem services. However, management decisions must deal with different habitats, and respond to society multiple demands and aspirations. New tools for identifying and analyzing priority criteria and determining best management alternatives, integrating ecological and socio-economic perspectives are needed. We developed a participatory approach to identify priority areas for restoration in a 224,472 Ha area in Crevillent Forest Demarcation, southeast semi-arid Spain. The challenge was to develop a rigorous yet accessible methodology that could be extrapolated to other regions. An 88-stakeholder platform was asked to identify and weight priority criteria for ER. Stakeholders identified five groups of criteria corresponding to natural and semi-natural environments, highly-humanized environments, criteria related to ecosystem functions, criteria related to landscape-scale processes, and socio-economic and cultural criteria. The integrated weight of the studied criteria showed that highly-humanized environments (landfills and waste dumps, river margins, unused quarries, rainfed crops, and irrigated crops) and criteria related to ecosystem function (key areas to reduce wildfire risk and vulnerability, key areas to reduce erosion, key areas to reduce water pollution) received the highest priority, together with areas with high cultural and ethnologic value. In contrast, the priority for natural and semi-natural environments and landscape-scale features was lower. We discuss these results and the feasibility of using this protocol to support decision making concerning ecological restoration actions in this Mediterranean landscape.

The Spain state, unitary state is for years a reference for decentralization for several countries including Morocco wich now leads a project of reform and territorial organization. We want to return to the subject of decentralization and its relation to the democratic process in Spain.Obviously in the light evolution of this country and its constitution a remarkable evolution crowned by the accession to the European union with strong productive and autonomous regions.
The inhabitants of the Segura basin, located to the south of Spain, have difficulty in understanding the Royal Decree of 18 June 2004, which, for them, represents an unprecedented reversal of the water management policy pursued in Spain for more than a century. This recent development can be attributed to a regional debate; however, it also reflects social regulation processes linked to the emergence of the concepts of 'integrated management' and 'demand management', which at the same time question water development and management models.
International audience ; The paper aims to study the beginning of the Neapolitan liberal revolution of 1820 and to consider the way in which the Constitution of Cadix (1812) was imitated and appropriated by insurgent officers attentive to the contemporary Spanish revolutionary pattern. The political writings of the Neapolitan liberals as well as the Bourbon police sources allow us to highlight the building of a consensus about the Spanish Constitution in the Two Sicilies. The recent sympathies towards Spain gave rise to a broad justifying literature insisting on the brotherhood between the two revolutions and explaining the imitation of a foreign revolution regarded as illegitimate by international observers. In the very first days of the revolution, several categories of stakeholders (officers, mayors, judges, priests) took care of imposing the Spanish pattern on the provinces. The Neapolitan public debate quickly showed the limits of such a consensus, questioning the possible adaptation of the Spanish text to local circumstances and comparing it to other contemporary political constitutions.
