Looking from and about the young plathes of the 21st century: a collective experience that encourages citizen participation at school ; Miradas desde y sobre los jóvenes platenses del siglo XXI: una experiencia colectiva que propicia la participación ciudadana desde la escuela

Abstract

The article presents the book Miradas to the academic community since and about young people in the twenty-first century (Martin M.V. and Pérez de Stéfano, L., CoC editions, 2002, Intellectual Property: 225.221). With a foreword from Rossana Reguillo, it brings together seven research around the same axis, proposing a course of some practices that show that the youth identity has been built on a local scene (La Plata — Argentina). The interest of the journey lies in the fact that it was the students of the last year of the Polimodal level who critically recorded and reflected on themselves and their peers, anchoring that analysis into a nearby daily space, reflecting them and in which they could be reflected. Positioning young people as actors able to provide answers on the different ways in which they settle in the social fabric allows them to be projected into a different, more imaginative and participatory future Faculty of Journalism and Social Communication (FPyCS) ; El artículo presenta a la comunidad académica el libro Miradas desde y sobre los jóvenes platenses del siglo XXI (Martin M.V. y Pérez de Stéfano, L., Ediciones del CdC, 2002, Propiedad intelectual: 225.221). Con prólogo de Rossana Reguillo, el mismo reúne siete investigaciones en torno a un mismo eje, propone un recorrido por algunas prácticas que dan cuenta de la construcción de la identidad juvenil en un escenario local (La Plata - Argentina). El interés del trayecto radica en el hecho de que han sido alumnos del último año del Nivel Polimodal quienes registraron y reflexionaron críticamente sobre sí mismos y sus semejantes, anclando dicho análisis en un espacio cotidiano próximo, que los reflejara y en el cual pudieran reflejarse. Posicionar a los jóvenes como actores capaces de ofrecer respuestas sobre los diversos modos en que se instalan en la trama social, permite proyectarlos hacia un futuro distinto, más imaginativo y participativo Facultad de Periodismo y Comunicación Social (FPyCS)
