Abstract

The author deals with the historical aspect of the protection of public order and the fight against
crime in the most difficult period in the history of Russia – the establishment of Bolshevik power and complete scrapping the existing law enforcement apparatus. He analyzes the problem of creating Soviet law enforcement agencies in the Tyumen region.
