The State and the crisis in Africa: in search of a second liberation

Abstract

This document presents the broad consensus of the conference's participants. They agreed that a Second Liberation is a useful concept to describe what Africa needs in order to move out of its present predicament. The report contains the discussion of possible further actions that Africans should consider and carry out in order to bring about a Second Liberation. (DÜI-Hff)
